A rose among the thorns

The past weekend has been spent working long hours in the office. Well, more like from 9+am till past 12 midnite….arghh and most of the time was spent in waiting for the client’s feedback. Bored as hell! But, instead of complaining further….there’s something to be thankful about this situation instead:
- I should be thankful that I have a job….there are people out there who either don’t have a job or are forced to work crappy jobs without any choice.
- The fact that I have to work long hours means that the company is doing well (i guess), and the client’s paying the company well as well (I guess, again).
- At least I love what I’m doing right? Well, not the waiting part….but most of the stuffs anyway.
- I’m lucky enough to be slaving away in an air-conditioned office, and not waitressing some restaurant like my previous summers in Australia.
- (Insert any other reasons here)

I’ve fallen in love with this pink beauty! I want this Sony Vaio laptop…….but I don’t really need it. Aahhh….I shall lust for this, until I can find a valid reason to change laptops again.

Oh, 3 more weeks before baby and I go off to Langkawi!!! Wheeeee……Island getaway! Time to de-stress and not think about work for a few days, for once. Relax….and calm down…*breathes in* *breathes out*
Yeah, i sound like a nut case now…but you’ve no idea how close I got to almost pulling off my hair…coz i was too bored with all the waiting over the weekend!

Shazzy: Yeah, and can you believe it that I have not gone back home from work the normal 6pm time this whole week? Aahh….pure torture!! But at least there’s extra money coming in…and I really need to save up for the future. Oh, i really really love the laptop….just that I don’t need it or anything as my Dell lappie is still working fine. Guess I’ll just lust over it for now…hahah.
Don’t worry…uni will be over before u even realise it! There’s easter break coming for you guys as well right? Aahh…can’t wait for my little holiday….

Chrissie: Hrmm….snorkeling? I think i’ll pass after going for it once in Tangalooma few years back. Haha saw baby sharks there too…and i get way too nervous when the water level gets too deep!

You probably will be stoked when you go back to normal working hours. But the money will be coming in handy especially your holiday coming up in two weeks.
I use to have a dell laptop too for almost 4 yrs(it was my baby) before it just died about two weeks ago. If I go back to Darwin mid year then I will get my cousin to look at it cause he is a computer technician.
About Nepal. I am an Australian citizen. I would love to have dual citizenship but Nepal doesn’t allow it. I guess I don’t want to lose touch of my origins. But I guess when I was there everyone thought I was still a Nepali citizen. I still look like one and I can talk like one although I don’t speak as well as most of them. But if they asked me to pull out a passport then I’d be in trouble. LOL. I hope you are having a nice weekend I better head off and do my assignment.

Shazzy: Yeah, extra money’s always good. But it’s a drag to work so late so many days in a row….by the time you get out of office, the whole city is practically sleeping already!
Oh, and it’s good that you’re still in touch with your origins and can speak Nepali well. Hrmm….I’m practically a banana (i.e. chinese that doesn’t know how to speak chinese well)…bwahhaha.
Becky: Haha work is a drag when you work long hours…but i don’t think i wana go back to uni anytime soon. I just realised that i hate staying up to do assignments and studying. Ooohh….the Sony Vaio’s pretty ain’t it?? And it’s pink….i love pink!

hey i was thinking of buying that laptop too but i had a choice between a phone and this laptop i did all my researches and i fell in love with this laptop soo im just gna go for it and buy it

Wow you sure are having long hours at the moment even though you are just waiting around a lot of the time. Wow that laptop is sexy. I have decided to not buy my laptop at the moment. I really should try to save as much money as I can while I am living with parents. LOL.
Not long til your holiday. I just came back from one and want to go on another one again. I shall wait for a bit. Damn I wish uni was over already (in one way).
